An True Adventure in Musical Harmony

US Patent Pending # 61181610

This is an example of the harmonization process used on a real piece of music. We will use the first line of the Christmas song “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” in this example. The following is an example of how this song might be written in its original plain version.

hark-1

Playing the song as it is written above with the simple chords will give you a very plain and traditional sound with no color and flavor. The Adventures in Harmony Course will enable you to turn a simple one finger melody into a beautiful harmonization with color and flavor. It is not even necessary for you to be able to read notated music to make this song sound colorful with advanced chords.

If you have no music, you can probably just pick out the notes on the keyboard if you know how the song goes, just as can probably pick out the notes for “Mary had a Little Lamb.”

It is not necessary for you to have any written music to do this reharmonization by using our Adventures in Harmony Course.

If you can pick out the single notes for any song on the piano, that’s all you need to turn any into something beautiful. The chords in the orginal song are not even important because the Adventures in Harmony Course is going to give you the advanced chords to use. The important thing for you to realize in this course is that you are going to be using your own music to harmonize. You are not going to be copying some song that we have already harmonized and you just memorize the chords and song. You pick the song or notes and we just tell you how to harmonize it so that it sounds good.

The only thing that’s is important are the note names that make this song.

In this example the notes would be:

C, F, F, E, E, A, A, G, C, C, C, Bb, A, G, A

By using just those notes above, The Adventures in Harmony Course will teach you to turn that simple line of notes into the following chords that will make up the song and complete the process.

A-7+5, Bb6 add 9, Eb9 add 6, Db9sus, Eb9 add 6, E-11, A7 add 6, D-9sus, Bb13sus, E-7+5, Eb13, D-9, E-7b5, E-9sus, Db 6,9b5, Ebdim 6,9, E-9

Don’t worry if you don’t know these chords and don’t let these chords and their names scare you. By the time you complete this course, you will be very comfortable playing and naming these advanced chords.  All of the songs that you harmonize by using the Adventures in Harmony course will be using these advanced chords!

Our course has nothing but these advanced chords, these are the chord that you wanna hear, and have been hearing, but didn’t know what they were. We leave those simple chords alone and step it up a notch and pick things up where other course leave off.

We have a book called the “Chord Namng System,” that will teach you to instantly name any chord you see played on the keyboard, or play any chord named, even if you have never seen or played the chord before. There is a system that we pioneered that will teach you to easily play and name chords. Once you learn the system, you will be able to easily play and name any chord.

The chords that we came up with to harmonize this song are just one example of a possible harmonization that you can get by using the Adventures in Harmony Course. There are infinite possibilities, and no two musiicians will come up with the same harmonization. In fact, the Adventures in Harmony course will allow you to come up with a many different harmonizations for this or any song. You never have to play a song the same way twice!

From this simple string of notes that are from the song “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.”

C, F, F, E, E, A, A, G, C, C, C, Bb, A, G, A

We have come up with the following chords

A-7+5, Bb6 add 9, Eb9 add 6, Db9sus, Eb9 add 6, E-11, A7 add 6, D-9sus, Bb13sus, E-7+5, Eb13, D-9, E-7b5, E-9sus, Db 6,9b5, Ebdim 6,9, E-9.

What we have done is hamonized each and every note in this song with a completely different chord! This gives your music the ultimate flavor and color

If we were to label these chords to match the words in the song and wite it down, the resulting harmonization would loook like this!

hark-fix

Wow! That is truly a professional looking harmonization. Look at thoses chords. Just by looking at this you know its going to sound beautiful. Imagine handing something like this to your friends. They won’t be able to touch you! You will be the King of Harmony!!

You may be asking how long does it take to actually do this by using our patent pending system? To harmonize those two lines of music with our advanced chords, should take no more than 10 or 15 minutes!

Here are the notes for the chords you would be playing after using the Adventures in Harmony course on our example song “hark the Herald Angels Sing.”

If you look at the melody note for each one of the chords below, (the melody note is the note on top, or the note furthese to the right in each chord), you will notice that the melody note for each chord, matches the single note line for our song (C, F, F, E, E, A, A, G, C, C, C, Bb, A, G, A). So by simply playing the chords, you are playing the song!!!!!!! See in the first chord the C is on top, and in the next chord the F is on top, and in the next chord the F is on top again, and then E which matches our melody (C, F, F, E . . . ). This amazing system in the Adventures in Harmony course works with any song! Now you can easily harmonize the songs of your choice with those advanced cool sounding chords! Watch the following video and hear these chords in action and see the difference from the original plane version.
